With the continuous improvement of living standards, microfiber fabric has become an indispensable part of daily necessities. So how do we distinguish it from non-woven fabric? The method is actually quite simple; we can differentiate the materials based on the following characteristics:

Non-woven Fabric

Characteristics of Microfiber Fabric:

1. Soft to the touch and lightweight.

2. When microfiber fabric is attached to ordinary fabric clothing, if the microfiber remains attached even when the clothing is vertical, it indicates that the fiber fineness is sufficient, making it microfiber fabric.

3. Genuine microfiber fabric unfolds slowly after being crumpled into a ball, while fake microfiber fabric quickly fluffs up.

Characteristics of Non-woven Fabric:

1. Observe whether the light transmission of the fabric surface is consistent (this is an important and simple method to judge the uniformity of the fabric surface). Then lay it on a flat surface; a product with good uniformity should have no undulations on the surface.

2. Observe whether the fabric surface has a sheen. Are there any fibers floating on the surface? If it lacks luster or has many loose fibers, it is likely made from recycled materials. Tear off a piece of cloth and burn it completely. Observe the residue. Good products will leave little residue that is smooth, while inferior products will leave residue containing many tiny particles of dust.

There are now many varieties of microfiber cloth on the market, and you can use the above method to distinguish them.
